Lutheran Social Services of New York proudly opened Safe Haven for Children, providing sanctuary for unaccompanied minors until they can be reunited with family members who reside in the United States. Operating alongside The New LIFE School and Children’s Services (Family LIFE), our staff works with these children to make sure their basic needs are met and teaches them how to survive in a foreign land.
